2 days Mikumi national park from Dar es salaam

Mikumi is known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, hippos, wildebeests, and various antelope species. Bird watchers will also enjoy spotting numerous bird species such as fish eagles, lilac-breasted rollers, and hornbills.

Mikumi is about 280 km (approximately a 5-6 hour drive) from Dar es Salaam. The road is generally in good condition, making it accessible by car.

The dry season (June to October) is ideal for wildlife viewing, as animals tend to gather around water sources. However, Mikumi can be visited year-round, and the wet season (November to May) brings lush landscapes and fewer tourists.
