The island itself is privately leased, but its waters are open to day visitors on guided snorkeling and diving excursions, drawing dolphins, turtles, and an exceptional variety of reef fish in clear, calm water.

How to Get There

Excursions depart by boat from the northeast coast (Matemwe area), roughly a 30–45 minute drive from Nungwi or Kendwa. We arrange transport and the full excursion as part of your Zanzibar itinerary.
