Overview

\\n

Nungwi sits at Zanzibar\’s northernmost point, prized for beaches that remain swimmable at both high and low tide (unlike much of the east coast, where low tide exposes wide flats). It\’s the island\’s most developed beach area, with a lively mix of beach bars, restaurants, dhow-building workshops, and some of the best sunset views in Zanzibar.
