Are the safari vehicles shared with other travelers?

No — every Let\’s Wander Tanzania safari uses a private 4×4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, exclusively for your group. We don\’t combine unrelated travelers into the same vehicle, so your pace, stops, and photography time are entirely your own.

Can day trips be combined with a longer safari?

Absolutely — day trips like Materuni Waterfalls or a Mto wa Mbu cultural tour work well as an add-on before or after a multi-day safari, especially if you have a spare day in Arusha or Moshi before your flight.

Can you accommodate dietary requirements?

Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and most other dietary requirements can be accommodated at the lodges and camps we work with — just let us know when you book so we can confirm with each property in advance.

Do I need a separate visa for Zanzibar?

No — Zanzibar is part of the United Republic of Tanzania, so your Tanzania visa (or eVisa) covers travel to the islands as well. You\’ll go through a separate immigration check on arrival in Zanzibar even when connecting from mainland Tanzania.

Do I need a visa to visit Tanzania?

Most nationalities require a visa, available either online in advance (the eVisa) or on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Julius Nyerere International Airport, or major land borders. We recommend applying for the eVisa at least two weeks before travel. Let us know your nationality and we can advise on the exact requirements.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1- Tarangire national park

We pick you up from your hotel in Arusha or at the airport and start our adventure to Tarangire national park for a game drive to see the home of elephants, and baobab trees , today we have a picnic lunch in the bush. Late afternoon transfer to Small town Mto wa mbu for overnight at Jua manyara lodge with traditional dance after dinner.
Day 2

Day 2- Ngorongoro crater

An early morning around 6:30 we drive to Ngorongoro crater almost 45 minutes from where we slept, this for an early game drive inside the crater with views of the crater and a game drive, late afternoon departure and overnight same accommodation.
Day 3

Day 3- Lake Manyara - Arusha

A relaxing morning breakfast and drive to lake Manyara for a day game drive to learn more about the different landscapes found in the national park and to see some animals, elephants, monkey and view of the lake Manyara. Late afternoon transfer back to Arusha or Airport for your flight back to zanzibar.
