Day-by-Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arusha → Tarangire National Park

    Morning pick-up and drive south to Tarangire National Park, entering in time for full afternoon game drives along the Tarangire River, where elephant herds, lions, leopards, and over 550 bird species gather among ancient baobabs. Overnight: Mbalimbali or Nyikani Tented Camp (inside Tarangire). Meals: Lunch & Dinner.

  2. Day 2

    Tarangire → Mto wa Mbu → Karatu

    A morning game drive in Tarangire, then drive north to Mto wa Mbu for a guided farm plantation tour (banana beer brewing, rice cultivation) and a colourful local market visit, before continuing up to the cool Karatu highlands for the night. Overnight: Mama Dunia Lodge, Karatu. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

  3. Day 3

    Maasai Village → Ngorongoro

    A morning spent at an authentic Maasai village near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area — a genuine, respectful cultural exchange covering Maasai traditions, warrior culture, and village life. In the late afternoon, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Overnight: Embalakai Authentic Camps, Ngorongoro. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

  4. Day 4

    Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive → Arusha

    An early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater — lions, elephant bulls, black rhino, hippos, and flamingos on Lake Magadi — followed by a picnic lunch on the crater floor and the drive back to Arusha. Meals: Breakfast & Lunch.
