Day-by-Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1

Arusha Town Tour → Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with a morning orientation tour of Arusha — Tanzania's safari capital — through the local market and vibrant town centre. In the afternoon, drive southwest to Tarangire National Park for a late-afternoon and evening game drive along the Tarangire River, when elephants move to water in golden light and lions become active as temperatures drop. Overnight: Tarangire rest house or camping. Meals: Lunch & Dinner.

  2. Day 2

Full Day Tarangire → Mto wa Mbu

A full day in Tarangire — one of Tanzania's most rewarding and underrated parks. Morning game drives along the river deliver extraordinary elephant encounters, sometimes numbering in the hundreds, alongside lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, and over 550 bird species. Transfer to Mto wa Mbu for the overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

  3. Day 3

    Ngorongoro Crater → Central Serengeti

An early start takes you to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full morning game drive among approximately 25,000 large animals, including the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, ascend and drive west into the Central Serengeti, arriving as the sun sets over the plains. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

  4. Day 4

    Full Day Central Serengeti

A full day dedicated entirely to the Serengeti's Seronera Valley, world-renowned for its year-round big cat population — leopards in fever trees, cheetahs on termite mounds, lion prides on granite kopjes. A full bush picnic lunch keeps you in the field from dawn to dusk. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

  5. Day 5

Half Day Serengeti → Mto wa Mbu

A final morning game drive in the Serengeti — always productive, with predators returning from the night's hunt and elephants on the move. After a picnic lunch, exit the park and drive back towards Mto wa Mbu for your final bush overnight. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

  6. Day 6

    Hadzabe Tribe Experience → Arusha

Drive to Lake Eyasi to meet the Hadzabe — one of the last true hunter-gatherer peoples in Africa. Your guide facilitates a genuine walking experience as Hadzabe hunters demonstrate traditional bow hunting, fire-making, and bush survival skills. In the late afternoon, drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening. Meals: Breakfast included.
