Day-by-Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arusha → Tarangire National Park

    Morning pick-up and drive southwest into Tarangire National Park for afternoon game drives along the Tarangire River — elephant herds, lions, leopards, and over 550 bird species among ancient baobabs. Overnight: Jua Manyara Lodge. Meals: Lunch & Dinner.

  2. Day 2

    Ngorongoro Crater → Serengeti

    Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive among 25,000 large animals, then drive west into the Serengeti, arriving as the sun sets. Overnight: Yellow Barbet Bush Camp, Western Serengeti. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

  3. Day 3

    Full Day Serengeti Game Drive

    A full day exploring the Serengeti's big cat territory, with a bush picnic lunch keeping you in the field all day. Overnight: Yellow Barbet Bush Camp. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

  4. Day 4

    Serengeti → Karatu

    A final morning game drive before driving east to the cool green highlands of Karatu for the night. Overnight: Ngorongoro Corridor Lodge, Karatu. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

  5. Day 5

    Hadzabe Tribe Experience → Mto wa Mbu

    Drive to Lake Eyasi for an authentic walking experience with Hadzabe hunters, demonstrating traditional bow hunting and fire-making, before driving down to Mto wa Mbu for the evening. Overnight: Jua Manyara Lodge, Mto wa Mbu. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

  6. Day 6

    Cultural Day in Mto wa Mbu

    A relaxed day: a tuk-tuk ride through town, the colourful local market, and a traditional Tanzanian food tasting — a genuine window into everyday local life. Overnight: Jua Manyara Lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

  7. Day 7

    Lake Manyara Game Drive → Arusha

    An early morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for tree-climbing lions and flocks of flamingo, before the drive back to Arusha. Meals: Breakfast.
