Day-by-Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival → Materuni Waterfalls

    Your guide meets you on arrival and drives you to Materuni village on Kilimanjaro's southern slopes for a guided waterfall hike and a traditional Chagga coffee-making demonstration, from picking the beans to roasting and grinding them by hand. Overnight in Moshi or Arusha. Meals: Lunch & Dinner.

  2. Day 2

    Arusha → Tarangire National Park

    Drive to Tarangire National Park, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive along the Tarangire River, where some of Tanzania's largest elephant herds gather beneath ancient baobab trees. Overnight inside or near the park. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

  3. Day 3

    Full Day Tarangire → Lake Manyara

    A full morning game drive in Tarangire before transferring to the Lake Manyara area in the afternoon, arriving in time for dinner. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

  4. Day 4

    Ngorongoro Crater → Serengeti

    An early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full morning game drive among approximately 25,000 large animals. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, drive west into the Serengeti, arriving as the sun sets over the plains. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

  5. Day 5

    Full Day Serengeti

    A full day exploring the Serengeti's Seronera Valley, tracking lion, leopard, and cheetah across one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife landscapes, with a bush picnic lunch keeping you in the field all day. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

  6. Day 6

    Serengeti → Lake Manyara

    A final morning game drive in the Serengeti before the drive back east, stopping at Lake Manyara National Park in the afternoon for a game drive through its groundwater forest, home to the park's famous tree-climbing lions. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

  7. Day 7

    Lake Manyara → Arusha Departure

    A relaxed final morning before the drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey. Meals: Breakfast.
