Itineraries
Day 1
Zanzibar-Tarangire national park
- Early Morning: Pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar around 05:00–06:00 AM and transfer to Zanzibar Airport.
- Flight: Morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha (approx. 1–1.5 hours).
- Arrival: Meet your professional English or France speaking driver-guide at Arusha Airport.
- Drive to Tarangire: Scenic drive (approx. 2–2.5 hours) to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife.
- Full Day Game Drive: Enjoy an extensive game drive with picnic lunch inside the park. Spot elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, and many bird species.
- Evening: Drive to your lodge/camp near the Ngorongoro gate (approx. 1.5–2 hours).
- Dinner & Overnight: At Ngorongoro corridor lodge
Day 2
Ngorongoro crater- Zanzibar
- Early Morning: Breakfast at the lodge, then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater (one of the best places in Africa for Big Five sightings).
- Game Drive in the Crater: Spend 4–6 hours exploring the crater floor – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Excellent chances to see lions, black rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and more in a stunning natural amphitheater.
- Lunch: Picnic lunch in the crater or at a designated viewpoint.
- Late Afternoon: Ascend the crater and drive back to Kilimanjaro
- Flight: Late evening flight back to Zanzibar.
