Many couples finish with 4 to 7 nights on the island. One Tanzania tourist visa covers both, and we arrange the flight and transfers. Foreign visitors to Zanzibar must buy inbound insurance from the Zanzibar Insurance Corporation for $44 per person, valid for stays up to 92 days.

Is a safari safe and private for LGBTQ+ couples?
Private tourism operators and lodges are welcoming and offer privacy, although local laws are conservative. Talk to us and we will plan your trip with discretion.
When is the best time for a honeymoon safari?
June to October is the dry season with peak wildlife viewing. January to March is the green season, lush with newborn wildlife and fewer crowds.
Do we need a separate visa for the safari and Zanzibar?
No. A single Tanzania tourist visa covers both.
Is travel insurance mandatory for Zanzibar?
Yes. Foreign visitors must buy inbound insurance from the Zanzibar Insurance Corporation (ZIC) before arrival. It costs $44 per person and covers stays of up to 92 days.
What does “mid-range” accommodation mean?
Boutique lodges or canvas tented camps inside or near park boundaries, rather than basic camping.
Can we add a balloon ride or a beach stay?
Yes. A sunrise balloon over the Serengeti costs about $550 per person, and many couples add 4 to 7 nights in Zanzibar after the safari.
What should we pack?
Neutral clothing, binoculars, a camera, sunscreen, a hat, a light evening jacket, comfortable shoes and insect repellent. We send a detailed list after you book.
