Booking Terms and Cancellation Policy

Booking and payment

Every trip is confirmed in writing. Your quote states the price, what is included and what is not, the deposit needed to secure your booking, and when the balance is due. We do not charge anything that is not on your quote.

Changes and cancellation by you

If you need to change or cancel your trip, tell us as early as you can. The conditions that apply are stated in your quote and in our full terms and conditions. They depend on how close to your arrival date you cancel and on what we have already paid to lodges, parks and partners.

If we must change or cancel a trip because of safety, weather or events outside our control, we will offer an alternative or a refund of what you have paid for services not used.

Prices and park fees

Park fees and government taxes are set by the authorities and can change. Your quote states what is included and what is not.

Travel insurance and health

We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers medical care and evacuation. You are responsible for being fit for your chosen trip, especially a Kilimanjaro climb, and for any required vaccinations and visas.

Wildlife and conditions

Wildlife sightings, the Great Migration and weather cannot be guaranteed.
